FSUMINHO was born within the Mechanical Engineering core of the University of Minho, driven by passion, innovation, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. Our mission is to take our members further, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and mindset to excel in high-performance engineering and motorsport. FSUMinho was created in October 2021. In the first year, the Team aimed to compete in Concept Class to gain FS knowledge and to validate the prototype design, and in the second year, compete with a working prototype in Class 1, unfortunately due to lack of resources and planning the team could't finished the prototype, taking a step back and restructuring the team in the past season to than compete in class 1 for the very first time this season in FSPT and FSG, first time competing abroad.
